There’s so much going on in Matt’s performance. In the scene where he asks Craig about the keys, he looks a thousand years old. Five minutes later, he’s playing football, and looks like a wonderfully happy child. It goes right back to Joanna in “The Crusade” [1965]: ‘There’s something new in you, yet something older than the sky itself.’ That’s Matt.
